Privacy Policy

Summary

Clipvora is designed as a fully local clipboard manager. Free does not require an account, and clip content stays on your device for both Free and Pro. Clipvora does not upload or sync copied items.

Data Stored Locally

Clipvora may store clipboard history, text clips, image clips, Favorites, Templates, Drafts, Watch LIVE preset metadata, Watch LIVE preview data, app settings, shortcut settings, and local account/session state on your device.

No Cloud Clip Storage

Clipvora does not upload or sync clipboard history, saved clips, templates, drafts, images, files, or Watch LIVE data. Each device keeps its own local clipboard workspace.

Account And Payment Data

If you create an account or subscribe to Pro, Clipvora may process email address, user profile, subscription tier, registered-device records, and license or billing status. Payments may be handled by Lemon Squeezy through the Clipvora store, currently identified as clipvora-store. Clipvora does not store full payment card details in the app.

Legal Bases

Clipvora processes account, device registration, support, and billing-related data to provide the app, enforce plan limits, maintain security, respond to support requests, satisfy legal obligations, and improve product reliability. Where required, Clipvora relies on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of personal data. You may request account data deletion or export by contacting support@clipvora.app. Local clipboard data lives on your device and can be deleted inside the app or by removing local app data.

Account Data Retention

Account, registered-device, subscription, and support data may be retained while your account is active, while needed to provide Pro features, while required for tax or payment records, or while needed for security and dispute handling. Deleted account data may remain in provider backups for a limited period before automatic expiry.

Emails And Account Recovery

Clipvora may send account, password reset, and support emails. These emails may be processed by an email delivery provider using Clipvora-controlled sender domains.

Third-Party Services

Clipvora may use third-party services for authentication, account records, email delivery, payments, subscriptions, app distribution, and build downloads. Current planned or used services may include Supabase, Cloudflare, Lemon Squeezy, GitHub Releases, clipvora.app, and support@clipvora.app. These services do not receive your clip content from Clipvora.

User-Initiated External Actions

Apart from the Google Drive connection described below, which you set up yourself, Clipvora may copy an image locally and open a third-party website such as an image host, translation service, cloud drive, or AI assistant. Clipvora does not automatically submit the image. The image leaves your device only when you choose to paste, select, or upload it to that service. The selected provider's own terms and privacy policy then apply. Do not share confidential, sensitive, personal, or third-party content unless you have permission to do so.

Google Drive

Connecting a Google account is optional. Clipvora asks only for the drive.file scope, which lets it see and manage the files it creates and the files you pick for it, and nothing else in your Drive. It cannot list, read, or search the rest of your Drive.

When you paste a picture as a link, Clipvora uploads that picture to a Clipvora folder in your own Google Drive. The file is yours, it stays in your account, and it counts against your Google storage. Clipvora does not host, copy, or keep your pictures, and does not operate any server that receives them.

So that a pasted link works for the people you send it to, files Clipvora uploads, and files you choose with the Google file picker, are set to “anyone with the link can view”. This changes the sharing of those files in your Drive. Anyone who has the link can open them without signing in, so treat such a link as public. You can change or remove this sharing at any time in Google Drive, and deleting the file removes the link.

The token that keeps the connection alive is stored in your operating system’s keychain or credential manager on your own device. It is never sent to Clipvora or to anyone else. Disconnecting in Settings deletes it and asks Google to revoke the connection. You can also remove Clipvora’s access at any time from your Google Account’s security settings.

Clips marked as sensitive are never uploaded. Clipvora’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Cookies, Analytics, And Tracking

The public website is intended to operate without advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or marketing cookies. If analytics, crash reporting, newsletters, or marketing cookies are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools are enabled.

International Transfers

Clipvora and its service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, Clipvora relies on provider data processing terms, transfer safeguards, and security controls offered by those providers.

Local Retention

Free and Pro keep different amounts of active normal history, as shown inside the app. Older eligible normal clips may move to Archive, and users can choose a 1-7 day cleanup window for normal archived clips in Settings.

Local Device History And Account Switching

Clipboard content belongs to the local device rather than an account. If you switch accounts on the same computer, local clips already stored on that device may still be visible.

Security

Clipvora does not upload clip content. Only install builds linked from clipvora.app or sent by support@clipvora.app. No method of local storage or account-data transmission is perfectly secure.

Children

Clipvora is not intended for children under 13, and it is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required in your region.
