How To Use Clipvora

Install

Windows

1. Request Windows Early Access.
2. If approved, open the private build link sent by support@clipvora.app.
3. Run the installer.
4. Launch Clipvora.
5. Use the tray icon or keyboard shortcut to open the app.

macOS

1. Request macOS Early Access.
2. If approved, open the private build link sent by support@clipvora.app.
3. Run the installer package (.pkg) to install Clipvora.
4. If macOS blocks the launch, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
5. Launch Clipvora from Applications.
6. Open System Settings, Privacy & Security, then Accessibility and enable Clipvora.

Clipvora needs Accessibility permission on macOS to send paste keyboard events. The installer automatically handles initial security setup for you.

Save And Use Clips

Copy text, links, or images from any application. Clipvora automatically captures and stores them in your local history for instant reuse.

Cycle History

Insert Clip Mode (Safest & Default)

This is the safest mode for compatibility across all applications. While you hold the cycle shortcut modifier (Ctrl), Clipvora highlights clips in the app. Release to paste only the final selection.

Favorites, Templates, And Drafts

Favorites keep important clips. Templates store reusable text patterns for repeated workflows. Drafts are edited copies of clips. Draft clones start as exact native clipboard copies where possible and only switch to edited paste behavior when text is changed.

Aliases, Tags, Tasks, And Archive

Add aliases to make dense clips easier to recognize, use tags for organization, attach clips to Tasks, and restore older items from Archive. Users can set the normal Archive cleanup window from 1-7 days in Settings, while saved clips remain protected by plan limits.

Image Clips And Watch LIVE

Clipvora can capture copied images and screenshots into local image history. Watch LIVE lets you save preview presets for screen references. Image data and Watch LIVE captured frames stay local during Early Access.

Fully Local Storage

Free does not require an account, and both Free and Pro keep clip content on this device. Clipboard history, saved clips, templates, drafts, images, and Watch LIVE data are not uploaded or synced to a clip cloud.

Account Recovery

Use Forgot Password inside Clipvora to request a reset email. The reset page is hosted on clipvora.app. If a reset link is expired or already used, request a fresh email.

Troubleshooting

If macOS highlights a clip but does not paste, check Accessibility permission and quit/reopen Clipvora. If shortcuts do not trigger, another app may be using the same shortcut. If an Early Access download link is unavailable, contact support@clipvora.app.
